here to connect, inspire and support
The Koa Collective is a community and network designed to allow individuals on searching for new roles or on sabbatical to flourish, feel fulfilled and have life defining moments.
The Koa Collective was founded in 2019.
Meet the Koa Collective team below!
Suvi worked in financial services for approximately a decade often taking career breaks searching for 'purpose and meaning' in life and work. Suvi found on her many career breaks (and there were quite a few!) that these were accelerated opportunities for personal development and growth, and time to recharge and explore new opportunities. However, also, at times these periods could also be lonely and scary - wondering what to do next and if she was headed in the 'right' direction.
Realising Suvi was not alone, it was these experiences that led Suvi to found the Koa Collective.

Isolyn has worked in finance for the past 8 years. Starting her career at a major global investment bank and later moving to a fin-tech company, she recently took time out of financial services, embarking on a 3 month trip around South America. Isolyn is therefore well placed to share first hand experience of a career break as well as a story or two from her travels!
Merita started her career in a larger corporate before switching to the fast-paced world of start ups as a People + Culture specialist. Time flies and now, with over 4 years of experience helping to scale seed stage start ups, she is starting off on her own career break journey. Merita is taking full advantage of the opportunities outside of a 9 to 5 lifestyle and wants to help and encourage you to do the same.
